North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-Un, got poor grades and frequently cut classes while studying in Switzerland, a Swiss newspaper revealed.

In his first year at Bern’s International School “Un Pak” — the name under which Kim was enrolled — was absent for 75 days, reported Le Matin Dimanche. In his second year, he missed 105 days of classes. Sometimes Kim would only be in school in the afternoon, according to a former classmate quoted by the paper.

Kim got the failing grade of 3.5 out of 6 in natural sciences, and barely passing 4s in mathematics, culture and society, and German.

In English Kim was begun in advanced class but was demoted to the standard class where he ended up receiving a 4.

He did manage 5s in music and technical studies, however.

Kim, who was born January 8, 1983, was placed in a class of born mostly in 1985 because he was below average in German, the main language spoken in Bern.

Kim Jong-un, 29, has been N. Korea’s leader following the death of Kim Jong-Il on December 17, 2011. He is currently believed to be ruling with the help of his father’s sister and her husband.
