Hong Kong flagship carrier Cathay Pacific has launched a “full investigation” into photos that appear to show a flight attendant performing oral sex on a pilot aboard one of its passenger aircrafts.
A woman in a red outfit like those worn Cathay Pacific flight attendants is performing oral sex on a man reported to be a pilot in several pixellated photos published in local Chinese-language media.
“We are conducting a full investigation into the matter and there are some indications that the female shown in the photos may be a member of our cabin crew,” a Cathay spokeswoman told AFP.
“Our investigations are continuing and we have nothing further to add at this stage,” she said. She did not identity of the man who did not appear to be wearing a Cathay pilot’s uniform.
“There is no evidence whatsoever to suggest that the act took place inflight, and there are no reasons to believe that any safety breaches have occurred,” the spokeswoman added.
“One of the photos appears to have been taken inside an aircraft cockpit,” said another spokesman separately to the South China Morning Post. “There is no way to tell conclusively whether the photo was taken while the aircraft was on the ground or airborne.”
