Beijing School Teaches Women How to Marry Billionaires

For a mere 20,000 yuan ($3,100) women can receive 30 hours of training to help them marry a billionaire, millionaire or just a well-heeled man. The course is being offered by the Beijing Moral Education Center for Women.
Since it opened last August the school has enrolled 2,800 women hoping to snag one of China’s 189 billionaires or possibly even one of its one million millionaires. Instruction includes make-up techniques, spotting liars by facial expressions, conversation skills, personality development and traditional tea-pouring techniques.
One 23-year-old student named Zhou Yue believe the investment may be the best way to spare her the financial worries that plagued her and her family while she was growing up.
“My family had a business and there was a time when things were very difficult for us,” she told Reuters. “During that period, I was struggling a lot inside, asking myself why we have to do this, why my childhood had to be so different from other people’s. So I thought to myself, if I can marry a rich man, at least I won’t have any worries.”
However, if the marriage doesn’t work out, China’s gold-diggers can’t expect to get half of the rich husband’s wealth as most of it would have been accumulated prior to the marriage. Even the wealth acquired after marriage would be subject to property division agreements and numerous other factors.
