I know you've said "actors and other entertainers" are not to be included but a random scan of the nominees already shows this has gone by the wayside...so Margaret Cho, Corean-American comedian, for telling it like it is and making us laugh.
average_guy26@yahoo.com

Donna Kato, journalist extradinaire for the San Jose Mercury New.

Dr. Miok Lee Fowler, tremendously successful Corean insurance agent (State Farm), author, columnist and community activist in Denver, Colorado.

Definitely Hanae Mori. She revived a passion she was once forced to suppress - art. Instead of painting canvases as she intended to, she studied the art of fashion. Today, she is a successful fashion designer and a businesswoman in her own right. She makes us proud to be women. Go Hanae! (Add to the fact that she's drop-dead gorgeous, she's proof that beauty and brains DO go hand-in-hand).

Lisa Hamamoto, 33, Vice President of public relations for the New York Knicks. She's one of the highest ranked Asian American women in professional sports. Isn't there another high ranked asian american woman in the New York Yankees?

I think it takes A LOT more to be a Wonder Woman than to have been gifted with the genes that result in physical beauty! BOOO on those selecting super models and actresses! Cheers to those who respect women for their BRAINS, HEART, and INNER BEAUTY!

Patricia (Patty) Fong, one of the past district governors and currently an international director of Toastmasters International

Lilly V. Lee....passed away this year in Los Angeles. She was a wonderful aunt, a very sucessful business women, and was loved by all that met her. She was once listed as one of the top 25 women power brokers in Los Angeles.... she has done so many humanitarian things, that I cannot begin to list them all...My Aunt is survived by her sons Randy & Craig Lee and leaves behind a wonderful legacy of rags to riches story.....I wish you would research her bio. I know a story on her could give inspiration and hope to those that are not in the $$$ right now, but are paying their dues for their big shot in the game.

Godbless you Auntie Lilly...we all miss you...

wu chien shiung
Kim, Hye-Soo is my choice for the Greatest Asian Wonder Woman because she is energetic, sexy, and powerful actress who has her own style of immage as a true actress. Esther Park
Connie Chung - she's intelligent
Gong Li, for breaking down many of the barriers facing Chinese mainland women, and also western preconceptions about China. Her screen presence is extraordinary. --vogrady
My choice is Nancy Kwan. I fell in love with her because of her great beauty and her endearing personality when I first saw her movie "The World of Suzie Wong" about 30 years ago. It has remained my favorite movie, I have never to this day seen such an incredibly beautiful woman on the screen or anywhere. In my view, all other actresses pale in comparison with her because she was so achingly beautiful. Too me , she will always be the beautiful "Suzie Wong". I wish she could have remained young forever . I also think that the movie was not at all demeaning to Asian women, but rather , showed these Wanchai bar girls as beatiful , warm and caring women. I am her age and will have a crush on her forever. --Maurice Catellier. mfdc@escape.ca
JESSICA HAGEDORN for writing "Dogeaters" --cd
Juju Chang, who is fab!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
***Why not chose to make yourself the person you admire and respect most in life? What would you have to do to make yourself the hero of your own life story? The people you are nominating are human, just as you are and you have the ability to do it just as well, if not better. Best wishes******
Angela Mao.

Michelle Yeoh

Angela H. Uyeda: Her vast beauty is resplendent with intelligence and grace - inspiring poetry. One could never claim poverty after knowing her. --Victor
I admire all API women who recognize and celebrate their heritage, triumphs, strengths, power, wits, legacies, love, life as API women. No emmy nomination, magazine cover, album sales, olympic trophies, impressive corporate titles can/will ever replace the true inner being and beauty we all possess as warrior women. --Diana http://warriorwomen.tripod.com
One of Us! My vote cannot go to an actress or model whose personality we only see via publicists and the press. While many may be truly remarkable, it is in the everyday and mundane that true examples of Love, respect, ambition and pride dwell. You may not know my nomination - Loretta Heystek _ but those who DO know her are truly gifted and grateful. What the mass media lionizes in our celebrities is what this woman exemplifies in her every moment of life. A dedication to bettering herself through higher education, a comittment to bettering this society through interacial activism and brightening the world around her by being a true friend, a positive role model, and a valued person by all those who come in contact to this woman who has enough pride in her ancestry to found a club celebrating it, who has enough courage to use that club to foster racial harmony, and enough pride and courage to serve her country of birth in the United States Marines!! However "popular polls" go...we who know this exceptional person know who REALLY uplifts those around her and, as they say, "a rising tide lifts all ships" ...this woman is more than a rising tide...she is an oncoming tidal wave! --Onyxlove_2000@yahoo.com
Mulan, if she existed, Hanae Mori, Corazon Aquino, Connie Chung, Vanessa Mae, Nancy Kwan, Ariadne (the supermodel), Vera Wang,
Kim Hye Soo (Hye Soo Kim) is such a pretty girl. He has nice, big boobs (but not too big). She has a very pretty face. Her eyes don't have that stereotypical Asian slant at all. She has a nice body, a pretty face, and is so cute.
