Chinese President Hu Jintao gave a keynote speech. A military parade and mass pageantry will follow the gathering and pass through Chang'an Avenue. From 8:00 to noon on October 1, CCTV and CCTV.com will deliver live coverage of the National Day celebrations including the military parade in multiple languages (Chinese, English, French, Spanish, Arabic and Russian) both on TV and on the internet. CCTV-9 (English) will rebroadcast the celebrations at 16:00, 24:00 and 7:00 (Oct.2), which is also available at english.CCTV.com.
