As I've said earlier, I run about five miles a day about four times a day. I've lost 40 pounds this way and I have about 40 more to go.

I think am/bf couples are becoming more accepted in our society. I think the issue is whether the two are attracted to one another. I remember taking an interracial relationship class and one of the Asian guys said that he never dated a Black woman because he didn't think they would find him attractive. He dated White and Asian girls. The class appreciated his response. I think there is a lot of truth in his statement. I happen to think the opposite if Asian guys are attracted to Black females. It looks like they do. I wish they did in Sacramento, CA.

What a funny story Takeshi Da. I did think about that though: how it would look going out with another BW/AM couple. It would look "on purpose", but then again, who cares. It's a free country. We can choose friends as we please.

kc, I'm in St. Louis. I truly think we are the only such couple around, even though this is definitely a major metropolitan area.

FARAH, like an intelligent lady and I'm sure you two make a beautiful couple. Do you mind if I e-mail you sometime? Perhaps we can share stories/experiences.

A lot of them here in DC, especially if you visit the Pentagon City Mall in Virginia on a saturday or sunday. I live right next to it. However, I do not see many AM/BF couples here. Good to know that there are some in this area as well.

You live in Maryland too? Small world. Oh well. I always get psyched when people live close to me. How was the celebration in Washington DC? I didn't get to go, my boyfriend was sick and since it was mainly my fault (Ahem...I kinda...coughed on him...a little...a lot.) I took care of him.

I wish I could have gone. Now I feel like I missed something.
