MORNING GLORY

As a reporter I'm given an assignment and sometimes it may take four or eight hours to put it together. I make sure I cover my bases. And at 10:00 p.m. I go live with it if that's what [management] wants. Knowing that I'm doing an okay job is enough for me, that I'm putting in my 110%. I'm not looking for the stardom, glitz or glamor. My work will stand by itself.
People I work with at Channel 5 are like brothers. Unlike other stations that have vast resources, we have a family atmosphere because it's small. We work as a team to get things accomplished and compete in the market.
My co-anchor Larry McCormick is wonderful. I adore and respect him tremendously because he's been in the business for so long. I learn, and hopefully I can teach others as well, bringing in something fresh, mixing the old with the new.

On THE DAILY ROUTINE
I wake up at 7:30 a.m. if I go to the gym, or 8:30 if not because I don't get to go to bed until after midnight. It takes about 45 minutes to an hour in the morning to get ready which includes shower, makeup and hair. I've gotten the routine down pat. My personal appearance is very important because the overall physical package effects the first impression people get [on television]. PAGE 4
