"I don't like to argue and I seldom get mad, but when I do get mad she knows that I'm pissed. I'll go crazy."

Q: But there must be a lot of things that affect your lives that you differ on.

A: Throughout the years of my relationship, I have learned to say something to my wife that I was never able to do before. I learned to admit that I'm sorry or when I'm wrong. I have no qualms about that.

Q: What about when you're right and you know it and she's wrong. How do you deal with that?

A: Arguments come out of one person trying to make a point, that their opinion is better than the other person's opinion. It doesn't have to be that way. If she has an opinion, fine, we'll leave it at that. I have my own opinion. Fine.

Q: Sometimes it's not a matter of opinion, though. It's like, we'll do it this way or we'll do it that way.

A: I agree with you in that there's no way anybody can go through a relationship without arguing, but we try to avoid it as much as possible.

Q: Do you tend to give in to her a lot for the sake of avoiding the argument?

A: It's not giving in. I think I have a sensible mind, so I'm not going to argue if she's right. But if I feel very strongly about something and she's wrong, I will teach her that she's wrong. But I'll say, "If you don't understand, that's OK, I don't expect you to understand."

Q: Doesn't that piss her off?

A: When we get into a really heated, heated thing, I will leave the room and give her space. In the heat of the moment, emotions come out where you have to give it time, you have to let her cool off. Making up is always nice, but I refuse to sit in a room with somebody and argue for hours. I don't like to argue and I seldom get mad, but when I do get mad she knows that I'm pissed. I'll go crazy.

Q: What about money. Are you at a point where you feel like you're making all the money that you want?

A: That's the interesting thing about money: the more we have it, the more we want it. Right now I'm trying to understand and learn to enjoy where I am and what I'm doing. The process of it, not the getting there. There's a lot of fun in getting there. I can buy any clothes I want, I can drive any car I want, we can go to any restaurant we want. So what is enough? I'm happy, but I sometimes forget that. My reasons for making money are not so much for myself, but for the people around me. I want to be able to take care of my parents, you know.

Q: Do you help support them now?

A: Yeah. My brother and I chipped in and bought them a house. But now I want to buy them a nicer house. I want to take care of the older people in my family, relatives.
As for myself, I don't know. It's a strange thing in this business. Some people in Hollywood, if they don't get a certain table in a restaurant they have a fit. To me, that's a bore.

Q: So you don't have that big Hollywood ego.

A: No, I don't.

Q: How important is money to you?

A: Money is important. It's a facet of life that cannot be avoided. I appreciate good things in life, and in order to enjoy them money is a necessity.
